Sergio Vinciguerra

Cursus :

Dr. Sergio Vinciguerra est un spécialiste de Physique des Roches, qui travaille à l’Istitutto Nazionale di Geofisica e Volcanologia di Roma (INGV Roma). Pendant sa thèse effectuée à l’Université de Catania, il a travaillé sur la sismicité associée aux crises volcaniques de l’Etna, le plus grand volcan d’Europe. Après un post-doctorat à University College London (Marie Curie Fellowship) puis au MIT, il s’est spécialisé sur les propriétés physiques des roches volcaniques, dans le but de mieux pouvoir comprendre et interpréter les données géophysiques disponibles sur le terrain.
