"For the last 30 years, dynamic semantics has dominated research on presupposition computation. The dynamic framework was criticized from the start, however, because it is so expressive that it can stipulate in the lexical entries of its operators the data it was supposed to explain in the first place. Several new approaches seek to address this problem of explanatory depth. We will provide a brief survey of a subset of those."
